The artist created this exhibit over two years; for a long time, Hoyos has done intense research and investigation about Suprematism and Constructivism.
This work series was inspired by Malevich and pure color ( the Black Square, and also the well-noun White on White); in this work, Hoyos made a re-definition of the square and combined different materials such as óleo, fabrics, serigraph, etc., obtaining his definition of the square by integrating all materials, including the frame.
